Thank you to everyone who made the 2nd Annual New
York's Funniest Reporter Show a memorable night.
Thank you Nikki Egan, Carmin Biggs, Robert George, Julia
Allison and Tasha Harris. Thank you also to 2006 Winner
Mandy Stadtmiller, who was not competing this year but did
a hilarious featured set before "handing off the crown" to our
2007 Funniest Reporter Sean McCarthy. You are all to be
commended for a great job and for braving the courage to
do stand up comedy. Everyone of you popped the audience
and got laughs.
Thank you to our headliner "Psychic Madman" Jim Karol
who gave so much of his heart to the show that he let a bear
trap snap shut on his fingers. Your mental demonstrations
were incredible along with electrocuting members of the
audience.
Thank you to our Emcee Leighann Lord who kept the
audience and crowd laughing and continually hungry for
more. You also did a terrific job ensuring everyone had an
introduction to their liking.
Thank you to our judges - Laurel Touby, Emily Gould, and
George Sarris. We were really happy to have you all
determine who was this year's Funniest Reporter. You made
a fine choice.
